Two sensors, more dynamic shots

  • Wide-Angle Lens: Featuring a 1” CMOS sensor, 50MP resolution, and a 24mm lens, this camera is perfect for capturing vast landscapes with superior detail and an expansive field of view. It also offers 1-2.9x digital zoom.

  • Medium Telephoto Lens: Equipped with a 1/1.3" CMOS sensor, 48MP resolution, and a 70mm lens, this camera excels in portrait and vehicle photography, providing a compressed depth of field. It supports 3-9x digital zoom.

  • Dual Camera System: Both cameras can record 4K HDR videos at 60fps, 4K slow-motion at 120fps, and offer 14-stop HDR video. They also support HLG and 10-bit D-Log M colour modes for more detailed and vibrant colour rendering.

  • Expanded ISO Range: The maximum ISO in standard colour mode now reaches 12,800, while for D-Log M and HLG modes, the limit is set at 3,200.

Enhanced Obstacle Sensing

Forward-facing LiDAR

  • LiDAR: DJI Air 3S is the first DJI drone to feature forward-facing LiDAR. This allows the drone to navigate obstacles for enhanced safety.

  • Low-light Vision Sensing: The vision system on Air 3S works effectively under light conditions with an illuminance of just greater than 1 lux, compared to Air 3’s sensor which requires a light source higher than 15 lux. This provides effective nighttime obstacle sensing.

  • Real-time Mapping: Air 3S is equipped with VSLAM technology. In a daytime environment, it can perform a global scan during each flight, achieving real-time onboard mapping. This allows the drone to RTH without GNSS signals.

  • Vision Assist: Provides a downward view in addition to the front, back, left, and right views to help you better understand your surroundings.

DJI Air 3S has upgraded obstacle sensing, including forward-facing LiDAR.

  • Off-State QuickTransfers: Send files from your Air 3S to a smartphone, even when the drone is powered off. Transfers to a computer can also be done with the drone powered off - just connect Air 3S via a compatible USB cable.
